What an adventure! We were invited to try the Norwegian Epic on a short cruise from Barcelona to Rome in April 2016. To be able to compare an American style cruise to a German one was very appealing for me.

Norwegian Cruise Lines offer a Premium-All-Inclusive package for their guests travelling from Germany (regardless of nationality) on their ships. This special package basically includes the full drinks packages that other guests can purchase separately and ensures that you can eat and drink to your hearts content on board (except for speciality coffees and bottled fizzy water - both come with a supplement payment).

The Norwegian Epic is geared up to ensure maximum entertainment on board for its guests. There are a huge variety of bars, clubs, restaurants and cafes on board to suit everyone''s taste. By downloading the APP to your smartphone you can use the onboard WiFi to plan your days entertainment - through from early morning Sudoku, a massage to watching a West-End standard theatre production.

During our short time on board we managed to pack in a comedy show, teppinayki dining, numerous cocktails, rides on waterslides, ten-pin bowling, casino games, live music shows (beatles and classic rock), dance theatre production (burn the dancefloor) and even stayed up until the early hours dancing in the nightclub.

We certainly enjoyed an Epic Adventure on board the ship and will certainly be looking to make one of our family holidays on board one of Norwegian''s ships in the future!
